Platt’s Lane Parking Update | September 4–7
To support Residence move-in activities and ongoing Western Road construction, the east parking lot at Platt’s Lane Estates will be closed from Friday evening, September 4, through Monday evening, September 7. During this time, tenants are asked to park in the west parking lot.
Thank you for your patience as we support a smooth move-in experience.
Laundry Rate Update
Laundry rates at Platt’s Lane Estates, Bayfield Hall, Beaver Hall and Ausable Hall have increased. The new Coinamatic rate is $2.50 per cycle for both washers and dryers.
Battery Disposal Reminder
Batteries should never be placed in household garbage or recycling bins. Damaged batteries can cause fires during collection and processing, creating risks for people, property and waste facilities.
Please remember to:
- Recycle used batteries through approved e-waste and battery programs.
- Store batteries safely until they can be recycled.
- Use designated battery drop-off locations on campus.

The Western Road and Philip Aziz construction project is managed by the City of London. Visit the City’s project website for the latest schedules and updates or subscribe for notifications through the “Follow” feature.

We’ve noticed an increase in countertop damage caused by standing water. To help prevent damage, please:
- Wipe up spills and splashes after use.
- Avoid leaving wet items on countertops.
- Dry surfaces regularly.
A few extra moments of care can help keep your apartment in good condition.
Prepare for Pest Control Treatment
If pest control treatment is scheduled for your unit:
- Follow the preparation instructions provided in your notice.
- Ensure the technician can access your unit at the scheduled time.
- Keep children and pets away from treated areas until it is safe to return.
